Last weekend we skipped the usual brunch and instead started our Sunday with a classical music concert at Holywell Music Room in Oxford.
A couple of weeks ago we visited family in Groningen and had the best time! The days melted into one another in a whizz of laughter, food and leisurely strolls.
When I think of our days in Ronda I remember the smell of cinnamon and freshly baked pastries. I’m not sure if it was coming from the charming coffee shops or if I was just imagining but what I am certain of is that Ronda is a bohemian little place where life was moving in sweet slow-motion.
Did I ever tell you how much I love food? Almost as much as I love travelling so when the two come together there’s nothing that can make me happier (except maybe some dessert and a cup of coffee!).
Dreaming of a few chilled days in a snowy Nordic capital we went on a city break to Oslo.
Endless rooftops, intricate mosaics in mesmerising colours, rich flavours and perfumes, Fez was everything I ever dreamt of and more. It was a complete cultural immersion and a lesson to celebrate life through music, food and beauty.
A few days taking in the unspoilt beauty of Crete and the last rays of Greek sunshine before the winter.
We visited Copenhagen in May last year and I’ve been daydreaming about it ever since. I love the laid back atmosphere, the friendly and way-beyond-my-level-of-coolness people, and of course the coffee.
